If you drop down to the Florida line on I-75, we like the Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park in White Springs about 30 miles south of the line.

True for the peak winter season, but they didn't specify a time frame. By mid-April it pretty much opens up for full week or more stays with some shorter stays before then.

We stay at Interstate Campground in Byron, Ga. It is right off I75 and easy access to the sites. Highly recommend this place.

High Falls State Park. The riverside campground is nice. Large sites with water and electric.Laundry facilities too.
