Finally, the stimulus package has passed the senate and white house. Some welcome relief for businesses and individuals. $2 trillion! [emoticon]

Yes, they're coming out gradually.

Yes, they're coming out gradually.

Still being tweaked. Most of the pork was taken out but there's some wording in there that needs to be changed. There should be a final version today.

https://www.cnn.com/2020/03/25/politics/stimulus-package-details-coronavirus/index.html

Looks good for the most part but there is 500 Billion in loans to big business (So long as a politician does not own it) and the Airlines and airports got what they wanted as well. I suspect there are some more negatives that this article does NOT cover.

Home is where I park it.

House still has to vote. On the plus side, I think the programs that some consider to be wasteful will primarily paid for by the constituents of those who added them since the tax base of those states and large ciities is way higher than the rest of the country.

'Just a 'heads up'. This thread is on thin ice as it borders on political. As long as the discussion centers on the various provisions of the package related primarily how the provisions may help us through this crisis we will try to keep it open; for information's sake. If it turns into a discussion involving partisan politics we will take it down.

Reading the news today (If I spell it right Ruters) it is still "in process" not yet passed both houses and presented to T.Rump. however that was hours ago and it may have changed since.

No, you have it right. It’s looking like tomorrow, but there are few hours left.
