Call the school and find out if the school will be open for that semester. Not a sure thing these days.

she's allowed to go in alone and pack up her dorm.

How much stuff we talking here?
Push comes to shove, you could send her on the train from the Casino RV Park in Joliet. Goes into La Salle st station and then for taking an uber from there and back. Meeting her there, the next day to help carry, would work out and for then taking your good ole time if you want, back at the campground.
Only thing is, the express is still close to 3hrs, each way, station to station.
You're saying that you don't have a toad that would qualify, right?
Even so, you could alternately rent something larger and drive from the CG for picking her and her stuff up.

The casino and property are closed due to Covid 19.

Ummmmmm didn't know that, but when you think about it, if the casino is gonna be closed, they're not gonna bother with the CG and even if considered essential.

The state closed all state campgrounds and ordered private campgrounds closed here. It caused a bit of a problem in some areas where construction workers were staying in campgrounds. They got run out. Some of the towns that had older closed down mobile home parks opened those areas so the workers could park their campers.
In IL now you can buy lottery tickets and marijuana legally but you can't go camping.

OK, she has quite a bit as she is not returning, that's where the moho will come in handy, lot's of room.
I get it, everything is closed. I was hoping for a walmart or truckstop somewhere within about a 20 mile radius. We'll drop her off, go spend the night and return next morning to pick her up. If we can't take moho it will take two cars and a motel.

thank for all the suggestions.

If you're thinking of a motel - why don't you just pay for a room and stay in your moho overnight in the parking lot? It's done all the time during normal operations...

OK, get on the horn with this Walmart
and for hearing what they have to say. Shouldn't be more than about 10 miles or so, from where you need to be....
