I am in Moscow, Idaho traveling to Boise, ID on Monday. US 95 is closed south of Riggins due to a landslide. Google Maps says closed until July 10.
I tow a 30' travel trailer with my F250.
What is a "quick" suitable alternate route???
Thanks!

NO quick route!
WA 129 south from Lewiston, then OR 3 to Enterprise, OR 82 to I-84.
Or US 12 west to Walla Walla, WA then east to Boise on I-82
Or East on US 12 to Missoula
No quick way!
Where you headed from Boise?

Bud, and others, thanks for the feedback. I will, of course, check the Idoho roads website Sunday night before we leave Monday morning. But it does not look good for a quick clean up.
We are meeting family in Boise, so dont want to miss that stop. Then Ogden, Rawlins, Denver for more family.
I am rather resigned to going back toward Walla Walla, then La Grande and I-84 into Boise. That is exactly the path we were on to get to Moscow!
Cheers,

Great video, and some humor: "This is not the way to go".

To paraphrase an old movie, "These aren't the lanes you're looking for."

Idaho is so lazy; they've really been letting things slide lately.

Too much rock & roll.

That mountain peak just got its rocks off.

That's the way the boulder bounces!

Very calm woman filming that rockslide. Probably a few of us have camped less than 3 miles south of there at Canyon Pines.

https://www.ktvb.com/article/news/local/........277-b48647cf-7bc5-473d-8612-3c04af6e0660

mentions a couple of detours

Old Pollock Road (daytime use) - this a 4 mile road on the other side of the river, local road, most likely gravel or oiled gravel.

French Creek Road - for 4x4. Years ago I drove north from McCall on the Waren Wagon Rd but turned around at the Burgdorf Hot Springs, due to lingering snow and rain. French Creek is a switchback road down to the Salmon (4500 ft drop in 16 miles). I read someplace that this was the way north from Boise before US95 was put through.
