I'd rather have you post a clip of the information rather than clicking on an unknown mystery link.

Simple supply and demand combined with rarity. They didn't sell a ton of Excursions to start with, and the pool of 7.3L PSDs is even more limited, especially good specimens at this point. Will they get that asking price? I doubt it. But I'm sure it won't sell for cheap.

E350 camper vans with the 7.3L are going for double that sometimes....

Autotrader may not be a mystery, but until somebody clicks they can't know they are going to auto trader? To me you are clicking on a mystery link.

Exactly right, in case you did not know this it is easy to spoof an address so it looks like something other than what it is.

Simply hover your mouse over the link and the destination address will appear on your screen. In Chrome it's the lower left corner.

Always look before you click, but the OP has been a member here since 04, I doubt he decided that today he would distribute malware through RV.net....

I saw a similar Excursion for sale at a similar price, but was modded to death with 6" lift kit, performance chip, etc. I get that they are rare, but that's a lot of coin for a 20 year old truck that you will never get parts for. It's worth $10k all day in my book, but as we all know anything is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

One of the reasons I sold the Suburban. Chassis parts that the 2500 shared with the HD Silverados were easy to get. Body parts that they shared with the 1500 Suburbans were easy to get. Parts for the 8.1 weren't bad, but parts that were specific to the 2500 Suburban were JY only in most cases.

Why is it so expensive for what it is? Diesel.

The gas versions of those are about $10-15k cheaper than the diesel version around me. I bet that original owner got what he paid for the diesel option and then some on trade-in.
