I saw a similar Excursion for sale at a similar price, but was modded to death with 6" lift kit, performance chip, etc. I get that they are rare, but that's a lot of coin for a 20 year old truck that you will never get parts for. It's worth $10k all day in my book, but as we all know anything is worth what somebody is willing to pay for it.

It's built on an F250. The parts are available EVERYWHERE! Including the 7.3L Navistar built Powerstroke. Couldn't ask for a better used truck/SUV than an Excursion.

From the B-pillar back, it's unique aside from the rear axle. Frame is different, fuel system is different, body is different. Even the back doors are 6" longer than the crew-cab pickup doors. That's part of what's driving up used prices. Good excursion bodies are being up-cycled into "new" excursions using the 2016 Superduty platform.

Regardless of what someone pays for it, if it gets totaled out or stolen with no recovery, an insurer is going to value it, at best, in the $18,000-range. Of course, there's always Lloyds of London!

A 7.3 PSD is a great towing machine but 35K is way too much for a 2001 with 100K on it!

autotrader.com is hardly a mystery link

Autotrader may not be a mystery, but until somebody clicks they can't know they are going to auto trader? To me you are clicking on a mystery link.

Exactly right, in case you did not know this it is easy to spoof an address so it looks like something other than what it is.

So all these years that RvNet has provided the "clicky" link, now it's not any good?

First time I've heard this complaint. How else would it be done? Much easier than posting a picture. BTW, I still haven't seen anyone offer to post a picture of the SUV.

$35k for a 20 year old Michigan vehicle for sale in North Carolina? It better show that it was owned by a snowbird and didn’t spend any time in Michigan from Nov through the end of March!!

The dealer has it advertised as a one owner, but the car fax shows two owners and two accidents.

lot of used rigs are overpriced today vs 6 months ago too!

Some I saw for 16-20K last spring, are now in the mid 20K range, with 100K miles on them.

Well since it's a member from 2004 I doubt they are going to post a spam link now.
