I am planning on a trip to Glacier National Park. I have been through many variations of Rv-ing, but have a question to people who have pulled long distances with travel trailers. I currently have a 2020 Jayco 34rsbs which is about 37 feet long. Dry weight 8860 gvwr 11250. I've pulled trailers before with 1/2 tons, but for this trip I'm renting a 1 ton Diesel. If I decide to do this trip with this rv I want it to be the best driving experience possible.
For you long trailer owners what is your experience?

That would be too long for CGs in the park. Private RV parks could handle it but I wouldn't want to haul one that long anywhere.

Where are you renting a 1-ton diesel? Regarding long pulls, if you want the best experience buy either a ProPride 3P or Hensley Arrow hitch, there is nothing better for over the road stability.

At St Mary CG on the East side I think there are about 8 out of 138 sites that can handle your TT

OP. I don't know what your route plan is, but I'm not sure that you can get a 37' TT from St Mary to Lake McDonald. Pretty tight in places.
Logan Pass is spectacular!

Coming from the east and Staying at the ST Mary KOA which I think is outside the park. Thanks for the info. Hate to drive it all the way there and not get to the campground I reserved.

We pull a 38’ to with a 2020 F250 diesel 6.7l . We went to Austin Tx ( 850 miles +/- one way ) with no problems.
