If you are responding to a post directly above yours, please don't quote it. It gets very confusing to have quotes, within quotes, within quotes.... [emoticon] Carry on. [emoticon]

Here in Ontario the new variants of covid are winning the battle against our limited influx of vaccines.

Update! Slept very well Thursday night and woke up Friday feeling normal. No brain fog, no aches (other than normal ones). Got most of my energy back and spent the day playing catch up. Wow. What an experience! It took longer to recover..but from what I read it's not unusual to experience SE's over a week.

Glad to be back on track!

Good to hear everyone is getting back to feeling normal again. I will be so glad when herd immunity is achieved.

My heart breaks for you..... we are currently in FL and watching with alarm as Michigan is on fire with (presumably) the variants. I don't think we'll head home quite yet, in spite of being vaccinated. Yes, Florida has the most cases of the UK variant - but our infection rate is running around 5%. Our area of Michigan (SW) is three+ times higher

DW received her first Moderna vaccine 2 days ago, her arm was just a little sore the first night, nothing over the top.

Slightly off topic,I have family members that will be getting the J&J this coming week

DW got her second shot yesterday, she has the chills, head pounding, body aches and just plain feels lousy.

Going from good news to excellent news.

Vaccination rate has hit 4 million a day. Younger members of the family are getting vaccinated or vaccination schedules.

Except for some hold outs, we might be reaching herd immunity early.

BIL & SIL got their 2nd Moderna last week. BIL had no issues, SIL who is NEVER sick and NEVER takes any time off was down and out for the count for about 36 hours. She was happy to endure it though.

The longer duration side effects are not too rare after all.
