Friday, my DW celebrated a birthday, (I will not divulge which one), but it started bright and early. Our twelve year old grandson was out of school and arrived about 7:30AM. We got dressed up and took Granny to get her first Covid shot. She took it like a trooper, and we hit the road again and traveled to another town for some Popeye's Chicken! Since the dining room is still closed, we had to get it to go. Arrived home, ate lunch and she was feeling fine. Later, I was holding back for the big finale, I got in the kitchen and whipped up a batch of Toll House cookies with mini M&M's instead of plain chocolate chips.... She is the Queen... ??????

RV-less for now but our spirits are still on the open road.

when GOD created me he looked down and said 'oops' - i almost made my first mistake - this guy will need all the help i can give him' so he thought for a second and said ' i got this Oklahoma girl i have been saving for a special occassion - and this is it'. ZAP.

We live in a small cowtown with very few options.....Buger King, McDonalds, Couple of Mexican fast food joints
KFC is in other town 18 miles away but isn't that good.
And they have basically the same fast food joints

We experienced Raising Cane's Chicken couple weeks ago when we were out of town
YUMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM!!

Saturday we had to drive 2 hrs south of us to get her 1st Pfizer Vaccine so we checked before hand on FOOD
There is a Raising Cane's but also a EL Pollo Loco
SO not having El Polo Loco since we left CA back in 2007 we opted to give it a try
We took a warmer bag with us and brought it back home.....it was good
Honestly should have gone with Raising Cane's and will do so when we have to Road Trip next month for her 2nd Pfizer shot
