Post a new thread showing your new toy.

I was privileged to pics already. [emoticon]

the fifth is getting DE winterized Tuesday and the seller will deliver it to our home. He is leaving his B&W hitch that fits a Ford puke system so that will be living beside the truck as the airhitch gets reinstalled in June. this 2019 Rockwood has a brand new look. I have not been able to make a picture on the forum for a long time but have tried . We will miss the alpenlite because it like our 05 truck "simple to operate" 80 year old folks like simple. I will try to send the picture. chevman

They have all been great rigs.

My son owns the first one with now over 450k, third one a friends Son owns it now with well over 400k. Third was traded in on last one. I still own the last two.

FWIW, I have never taken any change out of "the cup" [emoticon]

I want to get a better picture it was getting dark for this picture. Biggest issue is can we fill the large fridge without grinning from ear to ear. After 2 winters of Hospitals and nursing home we need to be very careful. Nice to be home this winter and it was the best in my 80 years for weather. Chevman. Thanks for posting the picture Ron

I guess I was a cheap scape for 27 years. Loved all three "cheap" trucks.

It is okay to take change from the cup!!

I've never owned a Dodge/Ram myself, but have always squandered on Fords, and occasional GM. I rarely carry change, so if needed will grab a few cents from the cup!!

The kicker here is, I have put way more change in the cup, than ever taken out!! [emoticon]

I consider the Ram/Cummins a good choice. If it costs less, that is just a bonus! [emoticon]

I see all of this on the forum with Dodge and Ford. When I go camping, Duramax seem to be the real deal. Yeah, Chevys will Nickle and Dime you but don't blow up, kill the tranny, rust prematurely or beat you to death.

Seems like the Duramax just keep going, have the best seats, a comfortable ride and won't screw you with warranty or even out of warranty repairs. I guess that's why I see more of them at campgrounds.

I suppose everyone has favorites.

Could be a geographical thing. Around here it's mostly Rams then Fords then Chevy third. To me they're basically all the same and one's not better than the other. I have not heard that Chevy covers out of warranty repairs. That's a great selling point.

BTW I've read many times that Texas is Superduty country.
